Spotify, reimagined with emotional intelligence and biometric-driven personalization

Project type: Design Challenge

Role: Product Designer

Industry: Entertainment and Wellness

Tools: Figma & Figma Make

Duration: 2 Days

As a daily user, I’ve always admired Spotify’s clean, intuitive interface. But I saw an opportunity to go deeper: to design an experience that adapts not just to your listening history, but to how you feel.

What if Spotify could sync with your smartwatch or fitness tracker and curate music based on your sleep, heart rate, and energy levels? That’s where the AI agent comes in. Well-rested? You wake to an energizing mix to keep your momentum going.
Didn’t sleep well? The agent responds with a calming, restorative playlist to ease you into the day. Have an interview or exam in the afternoon? Spotify helps you focus with curated tracks to sharpen your mind and steady your nerves.

I built the redesign in Figma, staying true to Spotify’s visual language—dark theme and grid-based cards. The prototype was tested for usability, and then developed using Figma’s Vibe Coding tool. The result aligned with my goal: emotionally intelligent design that feels personal and responsive.

This concept shifts Spotify from a reactive player to a proactive wellness companion, deepening engagement, opening new opportunities for wearable integration, and delivering a more human-centered listening experience.
